About AfterBurn…
In her third collection, Rebecca Evans confronts the aftermath of surviving trauma, offering her lyrical voice to those who have endured violence, for those who are still silenced. These flash essays are built from heat and ashes, the shimmer that remains when love thrives despite the odds. Evans writes with a refusal to give in, to give up, each flash showcasing a snapshot of hope and outrage, a cry for truth and healing.
AfterBurn will be available through Moon Tide Press in January, 2026,
